Sunnyview Nursing Home was established in 1973. Sunnyview is one of the largest employers in Grundy County. During the last 3 fiscal years Sunnyview has paid over 7.4 million dollars in salaries. 5.8 million dollars of that were employees living just in Grundy County. This money goes back into the community in the form of paid utilities, child care, groceries, health care, pharmacies, and many other products and services. During the last 3 fiscal years Sunnyview has also spent over 1.6 million in operational dollars within Grundy County on utilities, products and area services.
Our Community Involvement
Many staff members volunteer each year to be apart of the “Sunnyview Fundraiser Committe” to help with community work, projects, charity, and fundraising for our local town. We encourage locals to reach out to us regarding services provided to our residents including church services, local home-school kids, other local schools and many others.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had daily activities for the residents to do. They would try to get your loved ones up out of bed to participate in their activities. Unlike other places would just let them lay and die. I would definitely recommend going there if a family member have to go to a nursing home. Plus they had apartments as well.”
