Community Citizens in Support of Sunnyview

Who Are We?

We are comprised of Grundy County Nursing Home board members and employees, Sunnyview Foundation Inc. board members, families, friends, community leaders, community businesses, along with the assistance of the Grundy County Commissioners and the Trenton Mayor.

The Community Citizens in Support of Sunnyview committee is meeting regularly on Tuesday afternoons beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the conference room of Serve Link Home Care at 1510 E. 9th Street. These meetings are open to and welcoming of any other individuals or groups that share in the vision of supporting Sunnyview in its efforts of “Caring for Those Who Have Cared for Us” in the community.

Did you know they are a community-owned long-term care facility?

This means that the facility is managed and operated by local tax-paying residents rather than being part of a larger corporate chain. With this type of ownership, we can put greater emphasis on personalized care, community involvement, and responsiveness to the unique needs within our county.

The Community Citizens in Support of Sunnyview committee is focused on building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging among residents, staff, and families.

As a community member, you have a say in Sunnyview’s future, its care practices, and facility improvements. With your help, we can enhance the quality of care and ensure that services align with the values and preferences of our community.
